SHIP BUILDING AND RETROFIT (NEW)

This course provides participants with knowledge and understanding of shipbuilding and retrofit processes, with a focus on commercial, technical, and legal risks. It covers the roles of key stakeholders, including buyers, ship owners, designers, shipbuilders, equipment suppliers, classification societies, authorities, and brokers. Through theoretical learning, case studies, group work, and feedback, attendees will gain practical insights to apply in their roles. We are happy to introduce two excellent lecturers from DNV (Oslo) and Wikborg Rein (London).

THE LECTURERS

Mr Tor Erik Jensen is a legal professional and Assistant Professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) and visiting lecturer at BI Norwegian Business School as well as abroad (legal & commercial professional).
