OUR SHIPPING ACADEMY: Josef Mondl on China. A must see!
At our Annual Summit in April, Dr Josef Mondl from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, blew our minds with his presentation on China and Tian Xia - All Under Heaven. He made us realise that what most of us thought we knew about China has to be revised. Here is what some wrote in the surveys we sent out after the Summit:
- Excellent presentation and content which provided me with a a new and deeper understanding of China!
- This is one of the best presentations I have ever seen!
- Exceptional and excellent presentation, shedding new light on why we in the West fail to understand what motivates the Chinese to act as they do. Very exciting!
- Very interesting - a real wakeup call
Following this, we have been so fortunate to develop a 1-day course with Josef that we offer through our "Shipping Academy by Shipping & Offshore Network".
See programme and his full bio attached.
The course will take place at the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association on Wednesday 16 October from 09.00-17.00. We already have an impressive list of high level participants so we know this will be a great opportunity to connect with others and learn something new, so don't be shy!
Sandra Zalgeviciene (RIC) is our project manager for this event. She was there at our Annual Summit and witnessed the response from the audience. Sandra may be calling you one of these days to ask for your interest in this exclusive 1-day course.

We hope many of you find this interesting. To quote what someone once said about the internet, «China has come to stay» and it surely hasn’t become less relevant for your business since our Annual Summit in April.
